After being displaced from home for six days due to Hurricane Irma, the FIU football team doesn't mind a normal road trip.
"It doesn't matter where we play after what we experienced," FIU quarterback Alex McGough said. "Football is football and it will be great to get back to it on a normal schedule."
FIU will be on the road again this week when the Panthers travel to Houston to open Conference USA play against Rice on Saturday.
The Owls -- who also had to deal with a hurricane themselves when Hurricane Harvey damaged Houston -- host their first home game.
