MIAMI (March 28, 2019) – The No. 7-ranked FIU beach volleyball team gets back on the sand this weekend as the Panthers host the FIU Surf 'N' Turf Invitational, March 29-30, at Lummus Beach Park on South Beach.
The event runs all day on Friday and Saturday and is free to the public, it is widely considered as the premier collegiate beach volleyball tournament on the East Coast, and one of the top two in the nation. All nine teams in the Surf 'N' Turf are either nationally ranked or getting votes in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) and DiG Magazine Top 20 polls.
