MIAMI (March 6, 2021) - The No. 24 ranked FIU men's soccer team earned its first Conference USA win of the season on Saturday afternoon, after the Panthers blanked the FAU Owls in Miami by a score of 2-0.
With the win, FIU improves to 3-1 on the season and 1-0 in C-USA play. FAU drops to 3-1-2 and 0-1 in the league.
The Panthers opened up the scoring in the 18th minute, when Alessandro Campoy found a loose ball in the box and flicked it into the goal to give FIU a 1-0 lead.
