MIAMI (March 17, 2017) -- After winning 11-straight matches, the No. 24-ranked FIU tennis team (13-1) will face Iowa (11-2) on Saturday, March 18, at the FIU Tennis Courts.
First serve is set for 11 a.m., and admission is free to the public.
FIU, which enters Saturday ranked 24th in the latest Oracle/ITA Women's Tennis Ranking, is coming off a four-match winning-streak, after defeating Georgia Southern, 4-0, on Wednesday, March 15. The Iowa Hawkeyes, ranked No.77, won two of their last three matches, dropping a 4-3 decision to Old Dominion on Monday, March 13. This week's meeting marks the second contest all time between the two schools.
