CORVALLIS, Ore. (Aug. 24, 2023) – The No. 21 ranked FIU men's soccer team opened the 2023 season on the road Thursday night, defeating (RV) Oregon State, 2-1.
Edurado Mustre started his FIU career with a bang, netting both goals for the Panthers.
Graduate Student goalkeeper was instrumental in the win with six saves, including turning away a penalty kick.
The Panthers fired the opening salvos, creating two great chances in the first five minutes. A Mustre header found the right post in the second minute and just missed the left post with a well-aimed shot minutes later.
