MIAMI (March 27, 2021) - The No. 13 FIU beach volleyball team concluded the Surf & Turf Invitational with games against Tulane and No. 20 Florida Gulf Coast at the FIU Beach Courts on Saturday. The team topped the Green Wave 3-2 and the ranked Eagles 3-2.
Federica Frasca and Roberta Ribeiro went 2-0 on court one, taking down Tulane 21-12, 21-15 and FGCU 21-17, 17-21, 15-9. Paige Kalkhoff and Abbie Hughes closed out their undefeated weekend on court four with a 21--17, 15-21, 15-8 win over the Green Wave and a 21-11, 21-14 win over Florida Gulf Coast.
