MIAMI, Fla. – After finishing the 2022 season ranked 43rd in the nation, the FIU women's tennis team has been selected to compete in the prestigious 2023 ITA Kickoff Weekend.
The No. 43 Panthers drew the Coral Gables, Fla. regional in which No. 9 Miami is the host. Joining FIU and Miami are No. 19 UCLA and No. 35 Iowa State.
The field, comprised of 15 host sites, was decided via the ITA Women's Kickoff Weekend Draft, with teams from around the country receiving the opportunity to choose which host site they would prefer to play at.
