BIRMINGHAM, ALA (January 16, 2022) - Sophomore Filippa Miller broke her own school record in the pole vault Saturday at the UAB Vulcan Invitational with a mark of 4.02m (13', 2.25") to earn the victory in the event.
Miller bested her previous best mark of 4.00m, which was set at the USF Invitational last April.
Junior Kristin Lubeskie earned the runner-up spot in the event, finishing with a mark of 3.82m.
In the shot put, freshman Michaelle Valentin earned the victory in the weight throw with a mark of 18.
