BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - FIU Men's Soccer falls to University of Alabama - Birmingham on the road on Wednesday evening, 2-0.
In the last match of the 2025 regular season, neither team could find many scoring opportunities in the first half. FIU went into the halftime break with eight shots and two shots on goal, while holding UAB to just three shots and one shot on goal in the first 45 minutes.
Out of the half, the match continued to be a defensive stalemate late into the second frame. UAB broke the scoreless tie with the first score of the contest in the 69th minute, and added another in the 82nd minute to go up 2-0.
