LEXINGTON, Kentucky (April 26, 2021) – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced the first class of Thirty Under 30 Beach Award winners on Monday. FIU's volunteer assistant coach Corey Marks was among those honored.

Marks assisted in the Panthers reaching an impressive 25-7 mark in 2021. FIU topped six ranked opponents this season, including a historic victory at then-ranked No. 3 Florida State.
With Marks' guidance, Roberta Ribeiro and Federica Frasca were named to the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) all-conference team while Paige Kalkhoff received all-freshman team honors from the conference.
