BATON ROUGE, La. (May 6, 2016) – Day Two of the 2016 NCAA Women's Golf Regional in Baton Rouge, Louisiana is in the books and FIU's Meghan MacLaren posted a two-over, 74, to sit tied for 16th from the University Club (Par 72, 6,285 yards) on Friday.
Coming into the day at even par, MacLaren tallied three birdies and five bogeys to end day two (72-74 146) tied with six other student-athletes at 16th. The native of Cambridge, England sits 10 strokes back from the tournament leader Katelyn Dambaugh (South Carolina), who shot a six-under for the day (lowest score since 2010).
