BATON ROUGE, La. (May 5, 2016) – FIU's Meghan MacLaren wrapped up the first round of this year's NCAA Women's Golf Baton Rouge Regional tied for 10th after shooting an even par from the University Club (Par 72, 6,285 yards) on Thursday.
MacLaren registered three birdies and three bogeys for her 17th round of par-or-better this season. The native of Cambridge, England sits three strokes back from the day-one leaders Leonie Harm (Houston) and Ying Luo (Washington). MacLaren is one of 96 student-athletes vying for a spot in NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon May 20-25.
