MIAMI (Oct. 24, 2018)- It is no surprise that freshman Maha Gouda has been crowned C-USA's Diver of the Week for the second time in three weeks.
Coming off of a stellar performance this weekend at Dual-A-Pool-Ooza. The Alexandria native picked up three-straight first-place finishes. Her highest score, come from the 3-meter springboard where she posted an impressive 320.80.
"Last weekend I got the chance to see how she kept being consistent, regardless of the external conditions," said diving coach Rio Ramirez.
The poised rookie, who was challenged to perform in an increased altitude and a 28 degree drop in temperature, appeared unaffected by mother nature's delights when she performed the 5152D dive, one of the more challenging dives on the agenda.
