MIAMI (Oct. 9, 2019) - After a dominating performance at the TYR Fall Classic this past weekend, sophomore Maha Gouda was named Conference USA Diver of the Week, the league office announced on Wednesday.
The laurel marks the second-straight week that Gouda has earned the weekly honor. It also marks the sixth time the Egypt native has earned a weekly recognition from the conference over her short career at FIU.
From the 1-meter, Gouda won the A final of the event with a score of 266.45, before snagging third place in the B final of the 3-meter with a score of 254.
