MIAMI (July 9, 2021) – FIU swimming and diving will be well represented when the 2020 Olympic Games begin later this month in Tokyo, Japan as Maha Gouda and Elinah Phillip will participate at the event.
Gouda will represent Egypt on the diving platforms, while Phillip made the British Virgin Island team as a swimmer and will be one of the nation's two flag bearers for the Opening Ceremony on July 23.
"Representing your country in the Olympic Games is a lifelong dream for all athletes in our sport," said coach Randy Horner.
