BOCA RATON (Aug. 30, 2019) - The FIU cross country program opened up the 2019 campaign Friday, with a number of impressive performances at the FAU Collegiate XC Invitational.
Sherilene Gelderblom placed second and Rahel Gebretsadik finished fifth to lead the FIU women to a fourth place finish. Gelderblom, coming off All-CUSA honors outdoor season, ran 18:33, while Gebretsadik followed behind in 19:10. Anais Da Silva, Isabella Areces, and Merlica Faustin rounded out the top five for the Panthers.
