GAINESVILLE (Sept. 14, 2019) - Rahel Gebretsadik's 15th place finish at the Mountain Dew Gator Cross Country Invitational highlighted a successful day in Gainesville for the FIU cross country program.

Gebretsadik placed 15th out of 306 runners in the 5K, with a personal best of 18:46. Gebretsadik's previous PR came at the same course last year, where she ran 18:49 at the Bostick Golf Course. Sherilene Gelderblom followed closely behind Saturday morning, crossing the finish in 19:00 for 26th place.
