MIAMI (Nov. 2, 2018) – Next up in our Q&A series with FIU student-athletes is swim and dive's Naomi Ruele. The senior captain talks about owning four C-USA championships, her goals for her final season and her teammates.
A native of Gaborone, Botswana, Ruele is a dominant force in the pool for the Panthers. A two-time C-USA Swimmer of the Year recipient, two-time C-USA Swimmer of the Meet honoree and two-time C-USA Swimmer of the Week winner. She owns multiple conference titles for her outings in the 50 meter free, 100 meter free, 100 backstroke, 200 medley relay, 200 free relay and 400 free relay.
