MIAMI (July 13, 2022) – Four members of the FIU track and field programs earned All-Academic honors from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) .
Rhema Otabor (Mathematical Science), Filippa Miller (Communications), Kristin Lubeskie (Communications) and Michaelle Valentin (Recreational Therapy) each earned All-Academic recognition.
Additionally, the women's and men's program were named All-Academic teams as well.
This honor continues the annual recognition of academic success under head coach Ryan Heberling, as last year the women's program was named to the All-Academic team list, along with three athletes, in addition to the consistent presence on the C-USA Academic Honor Roll.
