MIAMI (May 20, 2021) - Four FIU Panthers have qualified to participate in the NCAA East Preliminaries, following a successful regular season and Conference USA Championships performance.
Queshun Watson-Riggins, Desmond Dorceus, Filippa Miller, and Rhema Otabor will represent FIU at UNF's Hodges Stadium on May 26-29. The Panthers will be looking to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon on June 9-12. The top 12 athletes from each event advance to nationals.
Watson-Riggins is coming off earning two gold medals at the Conference USA Championships, taking first in both the long jump and triple jump.
