DALLAS, Texas – FIU women's soccer saw five players earn Conference USA postseason honors, highlighted by Chinatsu Kaio being named to the CUSA First Team All-Conference.
Senior Chinatsu Kaio earned All-Conference recognition for the first time in her career, landing on the First Team as a midfielder.
Kaio scored a career-high three goals this season after netting just one across her previous three seasons with FIU. Two of her three goals proved to be crucial equalizers for the Panthers early in the season, earning her first career CUSA Offensive Player of the Week honor for the period ending August 24.
