RUSTON, Louisiana (October 5, 2016) -- FIU ended its three-game road swing with a win, a loss and a tie, finishing with a 2-0 road loss at Louisiana Tech Wednesday night in Conference USA women's soccer action. The loss drops FIU to 2-8-2, 1-3-1 in Conference USA. LA Tech is now 10-3-1, with a level 2-2 C-USA record.
The Lady Techsters were able to jump on the scoreboard early by getting a goal in the ninth minute from Madison Doll.
FIU senior keeper Sophia Trujillo (Miami, Florida / Gulliver Prep) faced 12 shots in the first half, with six saves.
