LOS ANGELES (Jan. 28, 2019) - The Women's tennis team participated in the ITA Kick-Off Weekend at the Los Angeles Tennis Center. FIU faced the LMU Tigers and the Minnesota Golden Gophers, and ended the weekend 1-8 overall.
The Panthers' lone victory came on day two against Minnesota. Freshman Basak Akbas took down the Golden Gophers's Caitlyn Merzbacher, 6-3, 6-3.
