MIAMI – FIU volleyball standout Margherita Bianchin (Venice, Italy) has been named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-South Region team, as was announced by the organization on Tuesday.

Bianchin, a senior outside hitter, was named Second Team All-Conference USA and a C-USA All-Tournament selection this season while helping the Panthers to a 19-12 overall record and a 9-5 slate in C-USA. FIU advanced to its first-ever C-USA Tournament championship match.
