MIAMI (October 27, 2016) – The FIU volleyball team (8-15, 2-7 in C-USA) will take a short trip to Boca Raton for its rematch against their rivals, Florida Atlantic (12-10, 7-1 in C-USA) in their lone match of the week on Friday, October 28. First serve from FAU Arena is scheduled for 7 p.m. (ET).
The Panthers are coming off a 3-1 win over Louisiana Tech, snapping a five-game losing skid. FIU sits ninth in the Conference USA standings, only one game behind the eighth spot. The Panthers look to avenge the 3-0 loss to the Owls back in late September and move up in the conference standings this Friday.
