-After surviving an epic 31-29 opening set and a letdown in the second, the FIU volleyball team regained its composure to win its first Conference USA match of the year, 3-1 (31-29, 15-25, 25-19, 25-18) at Florida Atlantic Friday night.
-The win improves the Panthers to 2-6 overall and 1-1 in C-USA. With one neutral-site win earlier this year, this was FIU's first true road win of the season.
