- The FIU volleyball team got back on the winning track on Friday night with a three-set victory over Louisiana Tech at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center. The Panthers, winners of five out of their last six matches, defeated the Techsters, 26-24, 25-20, 25-22, to improve to 11-6 on the year and 4-1 in Conference USA. FIU's 11 victories this season is the third most in the past seven seasons, behind only the 2015 (15) and 2013 (13) teams.
