HUNTINGTON, West Virginia (October 11, 2016) – The FIU volleyball team (7-12, 1-4 in C-USA) fell to Marshall in straight sets, 3-0 (26-24, 25-17, 25-13) on Tuesday night. The loss drops the Panthers' conference record to 1-4 on the year.
FIU was led by senior Katie Hogan, as is usually the case. Hogan recorded 10 kills and 10 digs to mark her seventh double-double of the season and her first against a Conference USA opponent. Junior Jennifer Ene also contributed with seven kills on a .375 hitting percentage. Ene also recorded her 44th career solo block, tying her with 1994-alum Jennifer Marek for third all-time in school history.
