MIAMI (Dec. 29, 2016) – The FIU swimming and diving team (9-2) downed two of three opponents during a quad meet with Yale, Cornell and Calvin College on Thursday evening at the Biscayne Bay Aquatic Center.
The Panthers defeated Cornell, 177-122, and Calvin College, 240-57.
In the 200 Medley Relay, the team of Naomi Ruele, Taylor Grabenhorst, Letizia Bertelli and Jennifer Deist registered FIU's top time of 1:44.67 for a second-place finish. Kyna Pereira recorded the team's best time in the 1000 Free (10:17.17) while Megan Bowen finished third in the 200 Free (1:54.
