@FIUSwimDive Extend Lead on Day 2 of C-USA Championships
ATLANTA – FIU won three more events and posted another school record time as the Panthers extended their lead on the second day of the 2018 Conference USA Swimming and Diving Championships at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center on Thursday. FIU won gold medals in the 50 Free, 200 Free Relay and 3-meter Diving and scored 278 points to take a 358-235 lead over second place Rice.
FIU opened up the evening with third and fourth place finishes in the 500 Free. Senior Kyna Pereira won bronze as she posted her best time of the season with a 4:50.
