• FIU's Shannon Saile earned her 10^th win of the season and struck out nine in a complete game shutout of No. 4 Florida, 5-0, Wednesday at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium in the second game of a doubleheader. It was just Florida's fourth loss of the season as the Gators fell to 28-4.
• After falling to the Gators in game one 9-0, FIU quickly jumped on the Gators in game two.
