The Basics
The FIU women's track and field team took center stage during a light schedule on day two of the 2018 Conference USA Championships at Rice University's Wendel D. Ley Track in Houston, Texas. All five of the Panthers' student-athletes that competed on Friday placed in the top 10 of their respective events
Women's Highlights
- The Panthers put two competitors in the top five of the hammer throw, including the newly crowned C-USA Champion, Terrisa Russell (Fort Lauderdale, Florida/South Broward).
