The Basics
The FIU men's and women's track and field teams opened up its 2018 outdoor campaign, heading across town to take part in the University of Miami Hurricane Invitational, at UM's Cobb Stadium. The Panthers had three student-athletes record a total of four top five finishes on the afternoon.
Women's Highlights
- Terrisa Russell (Fort Lauderdale, Florida/South Broward) led the way for the Panthers during day one with a pair of second place finishes.
