MIAMI – Fresh off earning preseason Conference USA honors, FIU men's soccer standouts Santiago Patino (Orlando, Fla./Freedom) and Joris Ahlinvi (Gujan-Mestras, France/Esarc Evolution) have been recognized nationally being named to the preseason MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List. Patino and Ahlinvi are two of just 32 players nation-wide to be named to the watch list, while FIU is one of just two schools to have multiple players listed, along with Portland.

The Hermann Trophy, given annually by the Missouri Athletic Club and presented by World Wide Technology, is the most prestigious individual award in college soccer and is presented annually to the most outstanding male and female players of the year.
