- The FIU men's soccer team was looking to go on a run in the 2018 Air Force Reserve Conference USA Men's Soccer Championships that would take them back to the NCAA Tournament for the second-straight year, however, Marshall had other ideas as the Thundering Herd defeated the Panthers, 2-1, in the quarterfinals on Wednesday afternoon at Transamerica Field in Charlotte.
