MIAMI (June 10, 2016) – FIU Head Men's Soccer Coach Scott Calabrese has announced the signing of four student-athletes to National Letters of Intent during the recent spring signing period. The Panthers have inked midfielder Alessandro Campoy (Miami, Florida), defensive midfielder Esteban Calvo (Escazú, San José, Costa Rica), defender Adam Hassan (Davie, Florida) and defender Aron Heiddal (Gardabaer, Iceland).
"We return an excellent group from the fall, they worked extremely hard over the spring to continue to improve," said Calabrese. "I believe that this incoming class has the ability to continue to improve our team and help us to achieve our lofty goals in the 2016 season and beyond.
