MIAMI (Feb. 25, 2016) – Involvement in the community is extremely important to the FIU football program and on Wednesday, the Panthers turned their focus to Perrine Elementary in Palmetto Bay, Fla.
Tyree Johnson, Fermin Silva, Isaiah Hill, Anthony Jones, Maurice Alexander, Austin Maloney, Jermaine Sheriff, Thomas Owens, Jonathan Pavlov, Dallas Connell and Laroy James, visited with students at Perrine Elementary, speaking about the importance of reading and a good education.
"This was a great opportunity for our guys to spend time with the students of Perrine Elementary," Assistant Coach Greg Moss said.
