MIAMI (September 6, 2017) – In anticipation of Hurricane Irma, the FIU athletics department has made the following schedule changes for home events through Sunday, Sept. 10.
- The football team's home-opener against Alcorn State University, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 9 at 7:30 p.m. will not be played in Miami. The team will travel to Birmingham, Alabama on Thursday and play Alcorn State University on Friday, Sept. 8 at 6 p.m. CT/7 p.m. ET at Legion Field.
- The women's soccer game scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 7 at 7 p.m. against Stetson has been canceled.
