FIU Women’s Tennis Wins Seventh-Straight, Defeating Colorado State, 4-0

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (March 4, 2017) – The FIU women's tennis team (9-1) won its seventh-straight match, defeating the Colorado State Rams, 4-0, on Saturday afternoon from the Fertitta Tennis Complex in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The win completed a 2-0 weekend for the Panthers, which defeated the No. 46-ranked UNLV Rebels on Friday (5-2). It also improves FIU to 5-1 away from the FIU Tennis Courts.

The Panthers began the match by winning the doubles point, as Andrea Lazaro and Nina Nagode topped Emily Kolbow and Alyssa Grijalva, 6-1, and Mina Markovic and Gabriela Ferreira defeated Solene Crawley and Sandra Keta, 6-0.
