The FIU women's cross country program closed out its 2017 schedule on Friday morning taking part in the NCAA South Region Cross Country Championships at Harry Pritchett Running Park in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The event was hosted by the University of Alabama.
Women's Highlights
The Panthers were led in the event by Sherilene Gelderblom (Middelburg, Mpumalanga, South Africa/Kanonkop) who capped off an impressive first season with FIU, as the Panthers' top performer, finishing the 6K race in a time of 20:46.
