When FIU takes on Temple in the Gasparilla Bowl on Thursday it will be the first time that the teams meet in football. FIU defeated Temple in two of three games in baseball when the teams last played in 2005. FIU and Temple have never played in basketball.
Like in football, FIU and Temple have never met in "The Other Game" in which FIU is matched up against a first-time opponent to find out who has it better. For the record, FIU is undefeated in "The Other Game". Can Temple hang the first loss on FIU in "The Other Game"?
