DELAND, Florida (March 26, 2022) – The No. 19 FIU Beach Volleyball team swept the opening day of the Stetson Beach Bash by downing No. 13 Georgia State in dramatic 3-2 fashion and Coastal Carolina 5-0.
The top FIU pairing of Paige Kalkhoff and Giada Bianchi moved to 13-1 on the season by going 2-0 on court one, taking down GSU 21-15, 21-15 and CCU 21-14, 21-19.
On court two, the Panther pairing of Roberta Ribeiro and Zuzanna Bielak took both duels on Saturday with a 21-19, 21-23, 15-11 victory over the Panthers from Atlanta and a 21-14, 21-18 win over the Chanticleers.
