Behind a two-home run, six RBI performance from Eddie Silva, FIU split a doubleheader with Marshall on Saturday at Infinity Insurance Park.
The Panthers (20-22, 9-11 Conference USA) won the first game, 15-0, and the Thundering Herd (18-22, 6-14 C-USA) took the nightcap, 6-5.

Silva led an FIU 12-hit barrage in the opener. The redshirt junior second baseman was 4 for 5 with six RBI in the first game. Silva a hit two-run double in the first inning to give starter Andres Nunez all the runs he would need.
