MIAMI – FIU senior punter Tommy Heatherly has been selected as the 2021 Conference USA Special Teams Player of the Year, as well as being honored as a first team All-Conference USA selection, conference officials announced on Tuesday.
Four other Panthers earned all-conference accolades, including sophomore wide receiver Tyrese Chambers and senior defensive back Richard Dames, who each were garnered with All-Conference USA second team status.
Senior running back D'Vonte Price and sophomore defensive tackle Davon Strickland were each named to the All-Conference USA Honorable Mention list.
