SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The FIU men's basketball team collected a pivotal bounce back win at UTSA on Saturday afternoon, snapping a four-game skid to collect its first league road win, 77-72, inside the Convocation Center in San Antonio, Texas. FIU held the Roadrunners (7-14, 1-9 C-USA) to 37.3 percent shooting from the field and 25.8 percent from beyond the arc to move to 9-11 and 3-6 in the Conference USA.
The Panthers led for 39:21 of the contest en route to its first road win of the season, led by sophomore guard with a game-high 27 points – his 10 20-point game this season – including a perfect 9-for-9 from the charity stripe.
