MIAMI (Nov. 9, 2017) – The FIU men's and women's cross country teams will travel to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to take part in the 2017 NCAA South Region Cross Country Championships on Friday, Nov. 10, at the Harry Pritchett Running Park.
The women's 6K race will begin at 10 a.m. (ET) and the men's 10K event follows at 11 a.m.
A total of 31 teams compete at the NCAA Division I Championships. 18 bids are automatic (top two teams in each region), 13 bids are at-large.
After teams have been determined, 38 additional individuals, per gender, are selected to compete at the NCAA Championships.
