MIAMI, Fla. – FIU will host the Indiana Hoosiers in the 2018 season opener at Riccardo Silva Stadium at 7 p.m. (ET) on Sept. 1 on CBS Sports Network, the network announced Thursday.
It will be the third meeting between the teams in the last four seasons. The 2017 game scheduled in Bloomington, Indiana was cancelled due to Hurricane Irma.
FIU is coming off an 8-5 season and an appearance in the Bad Boy Mowers Gasparilla Bowl in head coach Butch Davis' first year back in South Florida. The eight wins matched a school record as the team made the third bowl appearance in program history.
