LAKEWOOD RANCH, Florida (Oct. 20, 2019) – On the opening day of the 42nd Pat Bradley Invitational, the home-standing FIU women's golf team shot a 287. As a whole, the Panthers are tied for fifth and sit only four shots back of South Alabama on the team leaderboard.
A trio of FIU linksters will enter Monday's second round in a tie for 16th. Reigning Conference USA Golf of the Week Agueda Cortilla, Gabriela Powel and Valentina Gilly fired one-under-par 71s.
Carolina Andrade, the first of three Panther individuals, joined the trio in the Top 25 by carding a 72 to tie for 22nd.
