MIAMI - FIU football held its annual media day on Wednesday, with head coach Butch Davis and select players addressing members of the media.
"I've had a lot of years coaching and I don't know if I've ever seen a team work harder in preparation for a season than this group of guys," Davis said. "We really feel good and positive about the start of training camp so far."
Last season, the Panthers matched the program record for wins (8) and earned the school's third bowl berth -- the first since 2011 -- with an appearance in the Gasparilla Bowl.
