MIAMI (Sept. 6, 2019) - The FIU women's soccer team fell to North Florida on Friday night, as the Panthers couldn't overcome the Eagles at home after falling 3-1.
With the loss, FIU falls to 1-3 on the year, while UNF improves to 4-0-1 on the season.
The two squads were scoreless for nearly 56 minutes, before chipped in a goal on an assist by Yolanda Albalat to put the Panthers out front 1-0. The Eagles bounced back minutes later to equalize the game at 1-1 in the 63rd minute, before going ahead 2-1 in the 72nd minute after a score from Kendra Hoffman.
